We explain your options and the possible outcomes of different courses of action. We don’t tell you what to do – we encourage you to make your own decisions and act on your own behalf. We aim to help you manage your own problems by identifying options for you.

Get help applying for Universal Credit.  Our Help to Claim service can support you in the early stages of your Universal Credit claim, from the application, through to your first payment.

Help to Claim is a dedicated service from Citizens Advice. It’s free, independent and confidential. Our trained advisers can help with things like how to gather evidence for your application or how to prepare for your work coach appointment.

Pension Wise

How we can help?

A free and impartial government service about your defined contribution pension options.

Pension Wise only provides guidance on defined contribution pensions.

You can find out what you can do with your pension pot, how to shop around and what to look out for with taxes and fees. We explain how to avoid pension scams and the importance of taking your time to make sure your money lasts as long as you do.
